MODERATOR ANNOUNCMENT - JUNE 13, 2009: Due to the outrageous inactivity the board has suffered in the past few years, I (Kree/Amb0rg) am taking responsibility and trying to get BakaNeko back on its feet! This means that while there are very few users at the moment, the strict rules that used to be in effect here are going to be lifted and users are allowed to draw to their heart's content, so long as they obey the general rules of being nice and not spamming. Since I'm assuming I'm the most active mod here (if not the ONLY active mod - Hey, Spax is here too! >:( ), please feel free to direct all questions and comments to me. Been reading too much Rurouni Kenshin. Ayup. I like how his eyes turned out. He's all......battousai and stuff. I may do a background at some point... But right now my hand hurts, and I don't want to bother. >.> Any background suggestions?

Wow. I haven't oekakied in about two years. It feels so weird to do it again. And I'm really saddened to see BN falling apart like this. I really am going to try to recruit people so we can revive the place. I miss how it used to be.

Anyway. The picture. Decided I needed to 'kaki. Nothing really special about it. I kinda got too lazy to shade it at the end. But I think it looks kinda neat that way. Yea. Haha.

I also have tried a few others, and I didn't like them. I have always loved BN. It was my first oekaki board evar, and it's always gonna be my home. Thanks to Amb0rg/Kree for reviving it. <3

Not bad for a "bad sketch". :P I really like the controlled messiness of your lineart, and for some reason I really like the shape of her eyes in this.

Dunno if you're open to C&C at all, so just lemme know (and it doesn't hurt to put "C&C please!" on your comments so people know automatically if you want critique). :D

Hi, and welcome. :D The rules here are gonna be pretty lax for a while, as far as I see it. There's not too much traffic here at the moment, but if we all drag our friends here it will perk up again. <3 BN will always be my home~

I agree there could have been more shadows, at least. Just to add some contrast and depth. But it's so freaking cute it doesn't particularly matter. :D My favorite part is the cherry. <3
